Anniversary

So yesterday was our 5th wedding anniversary! We had a great day together! We scrounged up what money we could find and went to eat at this really great (but really cheap!) Vietnamese restaurant. I had a spring roll, grilled pork and shrimp over rice vermicelli, and for dessert: bananas flambe with coconut ice cream! My husband had fresh rolls (shrimp, pasta, & herbs wrapped in rice paper) and pork fried-rice.

Then we went to the movies and saw Dark Water. Well, the movie wasn't great but we had a lot of fun ripping it apart when we went for coffee afterward.

Plus, I got to wear my new sari-skirt that my friends got for me in Amsterdam! A girl at the theater complimented me on it!

All in all, an incredible date with my husband!
